Kingdom hearts iii ps510/19/2023 ![]() But even with all these improvements, KH2 was easily the most disappointing game to return to. Playing Kingdom Hearts 2 was equally nostalgic and the game benefits from a large number of improvements over the original such as better visuals, improved voice acting, and less cumbersome design choices. Most of the mini games and the gummi ship missions also pale compared to later entries, but other then that it was a great time. KH1 does have the least clear progression in the series though, which can be troublesome at times. I didn’t like how easy it was to unfairly die on proud mode in certain sections, which is unfortunately a reoccurring issue I have with all these games, but I enjoyed having the extra challenge over mindless button mashing. I had only played the original PS2 version prior to this, which I recall being much more awkward, so the game as a whole was both a nostalgia trip and a pleasant surprise. A new mainline game is already in development, along with two other smaller games-one of which is a new mobile game called Kingdom Hearts Dark Road. There aren’t many video game series more nostalgic to me then Kingdom Hearts, but while I’ve continued to enjoy most of the games, the series as a whole had fallen from my good graces in recent years. As for the future of the series, there’s a lot in the works. We loved Kingdom Hearts III here at PSLS, praising it for its combat and beauty, but weren’t quite as fond of its Re:MIND DLC, especially at its high premium price. The release for Kingdom Hearts All-in-One Package doesn’t mention an Xbox release at this time. In that time a number of the other games released on various other platforms and these packages manage to collect them all back under one roof. Kingdom Hearts III launched for PS4 and Xbox One in January 2019, 13 years after Kingdom Hearts II. Just need to catch up on certain games? This add-on serves as a kind of director’s cut of the base game’s conclusion, expanding on certain characters’ relationships and stories. Notably absent from the compilation is the Kingdom Hearts III Re:MIND DLC, which released in January of this year. In fact, this collection is made up of smaller collections that have released over the years.
